RULES FOR WOODWARD DREAM CRUISE CLASSIC VEHICLE AWARDS
1. How to Enter the Contest
a. The contest allows participants to win various trophies
during the Woodward Dream Cruise. This is not a game of chance.
Winning entries will be selected by judges based on criteria
described below.
b. To participate in the contest, you must register your vehicle,
pay a $25 registration fee, and provide a picture. Log on
to www.WoodwardDreamCruise.com and upload a 4” X 6”
color picture in a JPEG format according to the directions
on the website. Woodward Dream Cruise is not responsible for
entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet,
service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological
glitches.
c. Only one entry per person.
2. Eligibility Restrictions
a. The contest is open to all vehicle owners who are 16 years
of age or older and who legally reside in the United States
or Canada. Sponsor may in its sole discretion require satisfactory
verification of age, legal residency or vehicle ownership,
or entry may be disqualified without refund of registration
fee.
b. Winner must sign a participant release, including liability
release, and must hold a valid driver’s license.
c. To enter online, you must enter your first name and last
name, complete address,city, state, zip code, home telephone
number, cell phone number (to reach you during the Dream Cruise)
and a valid email address in the online entry form. One Internet
entry per person and one Internet entry per email address.
Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account
holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.
The authorized account holder is the natural person who is
assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider,
online serve provider or other organization that is responsible
by assigning email address or the domain associated with the
submitted email address.
d. Contestants are required to provide truthful information
and Woodward Dream Cruise will reject and delete any entry
that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Woodward Dream
Cruise will also disqualify and delete any entry received
from persons under the age of 16.
3. Internet Contest Privacy Policy:
a. We do not sell, lease, exchange or disclose your personally
identifiable information with third party non-affiliated persons
other than our sponsors partners, unless it is required by
law, or disclosure is necessary to those that operate our
website, manage our contests/events and conduct prize fulfillment
(“operational providers”), and to protect the
safety of our visitors, employees property. We also expect
our operational providers to protect privacy.
b. Our contests, sweepstakes and special events are often
produced with the generous support of non-affiliated sponsors
and/or promotional partners. The personally identifiable information
contestants voluntarily provide on our website may also be
used for the marketing of additional events, services, and
goods by Woodward Dream Cruise, or partners. Please be informed
that our sponsors or promotional partners may not have the
same privacy policies that we do. If you do not wish to receive
such additional marketing information or updates from Woodward
Dream Cruise and/or our sponsors or partners, you should check
the box(es) so indicated in the contest registration area.
However, we maintain the rights to disclose any and all databases
collected by the website(s) in the event that the assets or
stock of Woodward Dream Cruise, are sold or transferred. Woodward
Dream Cruise may provide aggregate statistics about our contestants,traffic
patters, and related website information to reputable third-party
vendors,but these statistics will not include personally identifying
information.
4. Prizes:
a. Trophies will be awarded in the categories listed to the
right.
b. Other prizes may be added over time.
c. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be
substituted for, or redeemed for cash.
5. Selection of Winners
a. Winning entrants in each category will be selected by contest
judges based on the following criteria: judges will pick vehicles
based on the categories announced. The decision of the judging
panel with respect to the contest is final.
b. Winners will be selected by the judging panel in a juried
manner, utilizing the photograph and information provided.
The selection method may be amended, and such amendments to
the process will be posted on the Woodward Dream Cruise website
at least three days prior to the judging.
c. Winners need not be present to win. They will be notified
by a call to your day phone number or cell phone number. If
available, winners will be invited to accept their trophy,
if applicable.
6. Conditions
a. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners
agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising
or broadcasting material relating to this contest without
additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal,
to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior
to acceptance of the prize.
b. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, Woodward
Dream Cruise Inc. may require contest winners to sign a liability
release, agreeing to hold Woodward Dream Cruise Inc., its
corporate licensee and the officers, employees, agents and
representatives of each of them harmless against any and all
claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the
prize or participation in the contest.
c. Woodward Dream Cruise Inc., in is sole discretion, reserves
the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry
process, the operation of the Woodward Dream Cruise Web Site
or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves
the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it
is not capable of completion as planned, including infection
by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention
or technical failures of any sort.
d. Woodward Dream Cruise reserves the right, in the reasonable
and sole exercise of its discretion, to make changes in the
rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize
or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
e. Entry constitutes acceptance of all rules. Void where prohibited.
Odds of winning depend on number and quality of entries received.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s
disqualification. Woodward Dream Cruise is not responsible
for typographical or other errors in the printing,the offering
or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement
of a prize.
