Tires
Rotating your tires periodically
is an essential part of tire maintenance. The main purpose
of regularly rotating tires is to achieve more uniform
wear for all tires on the vehicle. If no rotation period
or pattern is to be found in your owner's documentation,
rotate your tires at least every 6,000 miles.
However, rotate your tires earlier if irregular or uneven
wear develops, and check with a qualified tire dealer
or alignment shop to determine the cause of the wear problem.
Remember that a hard impact such as hitting a pothole
can cause misalignment, which then causes uneven tire
wear and if not corrected could cause problems. |

Spark Plugs
Spark plugs are one of the most
important parts of your vehicle's engine. Your spark plugs
should be replaced every 2 years or 30,000 miles to maintain
maximum fuel economy and peak engine performance.
This may vary depending on the make and model of your
vehicle. Some models will go as far as 100,000 miles before
the plugs need replacement. Replacing your spark plugs
isn't that difficult, but be sure to follow all the instructions
listed in your owner's manual. |

Battery
Your vehicle's reservoir of electricity
is the storage battery. Its most important purpose is
to start the engine, and it must work under all kinds
of temperature conditions. After the engine is started
and running, the alternator (or generator) supplies the
vehicle electrical requirements and recharges the battery.
The battery remains at the heart of the electrical system,
and it must be in good condition to ensure reliable electrical
service for your car.
Most vehicle owners prefer to have a service facility
take care of required battery replacement and battery
service such as cleaning and cable replacement.
