Classic Car
Parking
Again this year, Birmingham residents and classic car
owners from around the world will be able to pre-register
for parking spaces in the downtown area to showcase their
classic vehicle for the event. Your individual classic
car (1978 or older) or club can be included for a $20.00
registration fee per vehicle. Registered vehicles will
be provided with a parking space in the middle of all
the action and receive a 2006 commemorative hang tag for
participating. With over 1,000 classic vehicles expected
in Birmingham for the event, it is sure to be a great
event.
Pre-Registration for the general public is available for
both individuals and car clubs.
This year, the Birmingham Dream Cruise Event will use
a lottery system to assign spaces for all pre-registered
car clubs and pre-registered individual cars. Please see
the Pre-Registration Form for the Official Event Rules.
Lottery Rules
Pre-registration Applications must be received no later
than May 19, 2006 to be eligible for lottery.
Lottery drawing will be conducted in late May 2006.
All applicants will be notified of their status via postal
mail following the drawing.
Only one application for each Car Club or Individual will
be considered.
Complete all information on application form.
Deposit check must accompany application
($100/Car Clubs; $20/Individual Cars).
Those that are not selected will have checks returned
to them following the drawing.
For those selected to participate, deposit will be applied
to total registration fee.
Full payment must be received no later than June 16, 2006,
or spaces will be forfeited.
Failure to comply with Lottery or Official Rules could
disqualify an application from the process.

Deadline for submission of Pre-Registration materials
and deposits ($100 for Car Clubs; $20 for Individual Cars).
Late May 2006
Lottery conducted and Results Mailed to Entrants.
June 16, 2006
Deadline for Pre-Registration balances.
$20 per car. No Refunds will be given.
Mid-July, 2006
Pre-Registration Packets, including parking passes, mailed.
Confirmation packets, which will include parking passes,
will be mailed in mid-July.
Pre-registered clubs must arrive between 7:30 a.m. and
9:00 a.m. You will not be allowed to enter prior to 7:30
a.m. After 9:00 a.m. all available space will go to pre-registered

Pre-registered individuals must arrive between 9:00 a.m.
and 10:00 a.m. You will not be allowed to enter prior
to 9:00 a.m. After 10:00 a.m., space will be available

Event Day Registration is open to individuals the day
of the event, based upon availability. Cars must be 1978
Model Year and prior. After 10:00 a.m., space will be
